Good morning, Blugolds!
The girls’ basketball team plays in the State Semi-finals at 8:15 tonight vs. Shiocton at the Resch Center in Green Bay. If anyone knows any of the girls playing, please wish them good luck!
The band bus will depart at 1:45. Student busses will leave at 2:00. The student busses will not stop on the way to or from the game. Please be early for the busses and listen for instructions from the chaperones who are Mr. Erickson and Mr. Gilles.
The WIAA and the Resch Center encourage sportsmanship and self- control during the State tournament. As always please represent Aquinas well, while at the same time being respectful of our opponent.
The following guidelines are in place during all games: Chants should never target individual players on the other team. Fans are discouraged from chants and waving of hands during opponent free throws. Signs with sticks attached are not allowed. Body or face paint is not allowed and no face covering of any type is not allowed.
There will be a prom meeting, Monday, March 13 at 10 am in the library. All juniors are asked to come. We will be meeting with the DJ and maybe Mrs. Nancy Flottmeyer for decorating assistance. I know this is a day off of school, but who needs to sleep in and we could really use more input from the Junior class.
Renee will be doing Impact Concussion testing after school on March 15 for those who have not done it this year and will be out for a spring sport. This is a requirement so please talk to her if you have any questions.
Math team members will have a jeans day on Tuesday, March 14th, which is Pi Day, if you wear your math team shirt.
Remember Pi Day is next Tuesday! There will be pie and ice cream for sale during both lunches for only $1. There will also be other prizes available
