Good Morning, Blugolds!
Thought of the Week…IT’S OKAY TO DISLIKE SOMEONE OR EVEN DISLIKE SOMEONE FOR NO REASON, BUT IT’S NOT OKAY TO DISRESPECT, DEGRADE OR HUMILIATE THAT PERSON. Please treat everyone with respect!
Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team on a great season and winning the D4 State Championship! Thank you to the Seniors for being such great representatives of Blugold Basketball and of Aquinas.
Thank you to the students and staff who traveled to Green Bay to support and show school pride. It was a great crowd!
Congratulation to the Aquinas Robotics Team who competed in Duluth this weekend. They won 5 of their matches, placed in the top 3rd of all teams and won the Safest Pit Award.
It's Pi Day on Wednesday and that means math team members who participated at the UW-Eau Claire math meet last month can have a jeans day if they wear their yellow math team shirt.
Girls BB and dance team members. Bring a flash drive to Mr. Weber sometime today to get copies of all the photos taken at last weekends state BB games.
Graduation announcement orders will be available for pick up during lunch on March 14th.
Concussion baseline testing for spring athletes will be done on Tuesday, March 13th and Thursday, March 15th after school in Room 209. Testing is done every other year. So if you took the test last year or for the fall or winter seasons this year, you are up to date for the spring season. All other athletes should plan to take the baseline test at one of the sessions. If those dates and times do not work in your schedule, please see Renee in the athletic training room to schedule an alternate testing time.
The scholarships for Aquinas High School 2018 graduating seniors is now open in Google Classroom. If you did not get the sheet with the code to access the scholarship "class" please stop in Student Services and pick it up. The application will close at 3:05 on March 27, 2018. You must submit the application and supporting essays on Google Classroom by the closing due date and time. If you would like to be considered for the scholarships that list financial need in the criteria, you must print and hand in to Student Services, the financial disclosure form signed by parents within the designated time frame.
A representative from Wartburg College will be at Aquinas at 1:20 on Wednesday, March 14th. She was impressed with Aquinas students at our college night last fall so I encourage you to stop in Student Services for a pass to meet with a college rep from Wartburg.
Ripon College is hosting a special college access visit day each Tuesday and Thursday this spring. They are still accepting students for next year and still offering scholarships. Stop in Student Services for more information.
