I enjoy a challenge in teaching and working at Aquinas High School has been very rewarding to me.

The music program has flourished the past 18 years and I am very proud of the way Aquinas represents the LaCrosse area.  This year will mark my 7th trip to Florida with the marching band to perform at  Magic Kingdom.  Other trips we have taken include competitions in Nashville, St. Louis, Myrtle Beach,  New Orleans and New York.

In my spare time I love to reflect while listening to classical music and attending Broadway musicals and live concerts.

In the summer I enjoy the outdoors by taking long bike rides or walking the bike path around Lake Winona. I play the clarinet in the Winona Municipal Band and have done this for 38 consecutive years.

I enjoy taking graduate credits yearly to stay current in the field of music education and attending Drum Corps and other marching band competitions.
