Master of Science- School Counseling

I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse in 2010. After working in Human services for 3 years, I returned to school to pursue higher education. In 2015 I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as my Master of Science in School Counseling. I taught special education both here at Aquinas as well as in Westby and Holmen during this time. This will be my second year as a school counselor here at Aquinas.
I strongly support the academic, moral, and spiritual standards that Aquinas represents and am always ready, willing, and excited to help any student find success in these areas as well as in his or her social, emotional, or mental well-being. I feel blessed to be here and to serve all of our wonderful families!

Educational Background
Bachelor of Science
-Psychology: University of St. Thomas
Master of Science-Counselor Education: Winona State University

I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of St. Thomas in 1992 and my Master of Science (Counseling) degree in 2006. I have over 25 years experience working as a Mental Health Therapist in a variety of settings serving mostly the adolescent population.

It is a pleasure to be here at Aquinas High School as one of the School Counselors. I have had various life and work experiences that have culminated to give me a perspective as a counselor. I'm excited to be working with all students as they pursue their life goals. As a counselor, I am prepared to assist students in the areas of academic achievement, career discernment and personal, social and/or family issues that may interfere with their goals. I am happy to see students individually or in small groups depending on the need.
